Piss off, Kidman:
[Trump is] now elected and we, as a country, need to support whoever is the president. … That is what the country is based on. And however that happened, it happened, and let’s go.
And just to toss some cognitive dissonance into the mix:
… Kidman also spoke about Australia’s marriage equality delay, saying she’s in favour of any time “people love each other and want that to be acknowledged legally — because that’s protection, as well as saying you are committed. And commitment is a wonderful thing.”
Even more:
I’m always reticent to start commenting politically, I’ve never done it in terms of America or Australia. I’m issue based. I’m very, very committed to women’s issues.
Really. So she’s committed to women’s issues. She strongly supports marriage equality. And she thinks we need to come together behind Adolf as “our president.” (Kidman has dual US/Australian citizenship.) One of these things is not like the other.
Whatthefuckever, Nicole.

Side note: this comes from a BBC article, but the link to that article kept taking me to what appeared to be nothing more than a video of the interview with Kidman, which is mostly about how much she loves babies. So I used links to the secondary reporting.
