Back in July, I expressed my feelings on how voting third-party can have serious consequences. I watched that convention. The anger and sense of betrayal cut through my dvr box.... I was concerned.
Extremely concerned. www.dailykos.com/...
Well,I had reason to be. Stein TRIPLED her vote from 2012..... enough For her share to be larger than D.t. margins of victory in key rust belt states. With the Gop playing for keeps, I was wondering how are the green party's four pillars holding up so far... and HOW could folks possibly think our nominee was worst than what's happening now?
Trump visited the Pentagon on Friday to sign an executive order that he said will “begin a great rebuilding of the armed services of the United States, developing a plan for new planes, new ships, new resources and new tools for our men and women in uniform.”
The order, released Friday night by the White House, calls for rebuilding to military to pursue "peace through strength," a slogan Trump used in the campaign.
Under the order, Defense Secretary James Mattis will have to prepare a 30-day “readiness review” that assesses training, equipment maintenance, munitions, modernization and infrastructure, and identifies actions to be taken this year.

So much for that.
I’m speaking of Paul Ryan’s wish to privatize Medicare, or phase it out, depending on how you want to look at it. In an interview last week with Fox News, Ryan made clear that as part of the legislative bacchanal Republicans have planned for Trump’s first months in office, he plans to begin the Medicare phaseout he has long advocated. He seems to want to package it together with the repeal of the Affordable Care Act. www.washingtonpost.com/...
Gets better.
The GOP recently announced its proposal to eliminate Social Security’s funding gap with large benefit reductions accompanied by tax cuts on affluent retirees, but with no rise in revenue to the system through tax increases. House Ways and Means Social Security Subcommittee Chairman Sam Johnson, R-Texas, introduced the Social Security Reform Act of 2016, a bill that intends to keep the system solvent for 75 years.

Did I mention they are going to repeal the Aca and the chances of a double digit federal minimum wage is about zero?
No...…
No....…
And...... no to your "demands"
With so much at stake, so many vulnerable lives on the line to throw away a vote is wrong and selfish. We had a binary choice.
And that is exactly what Jill Stein and Ajamu Baraka have been saying. And Dr. Cornel West. And Medea Benjamin. And Chris Hedges. And you. (Hey, you are in pretty good company).
Here’s the letter from Ms. Sarandon to our campaign below.
** FROM SUSAN SARANDON **
Dear Jill and team,
I've been waiting for any indication that Hillary Clinton's position on the issues that are most urgent to me, has changed. But ...
I'm therefore very happy to endorse Jill Stein for the presidency because she does stand for everything I believe in.
It's clear a third party is necessary and viable at this time. And this is the first step in accomplishing this end.
Fear of Donald Trump is not enough for me to support Clinton, with her record of corruption.
Now that Trump is self-destructing, I feel even those in swing states have the opportunity to vote their conscience.
Susan Sarandon
Thanks Guys.... again for EVERYTHING.
