Donald Trump may have caused chaos in America's airports this week, but that isn't going to stop him from flying to his own Palm Beach club this weekend for some apparently already-needed relaxation time.
It’s one of the sure signs President Donald Trump will visit his Palm Beach home: The Federal Aviation Administration issued a notice of flight restrictions for the area for the coming weekend.
According to the notice, posted to the FAA website, Trump will arrive at his Mar-a-Lago Club on Friday, Feb. 3 and depart on Monday, Feb. 6.
This is happening while, as you may have noticed, protests break out all across the country in response to Trump's order barring entry of even legal American residents from Muslim-majority nations.
Trump's club, which he has not divested from and which is a posh profit center from which he gains tidy sums holding other people’s "charity" events, is located at 1100 S Ocean Blvd on the Palm Beach coast—only a hop, skip and jump away from the Palm Beach International Airport. Specifically, you can find a map here.
The Secret Service is obliged to keep out uninvited visitors while their charge Trump relaxes there, but that doesn't mean Americans can't pay him a visit outside his gates. Or on the streets leading to his club. Donald Trump is a man who thrives on public attention and would very, very much like to hear from you!
Oh, but he’s hard of hearing so bring signs.
