Mass murder by internet troll?
If you have been watching the news closely, you might have noticed that there was a mass terror attack in Quebec. Six completely innocent souls were murdered while they prayed at a mosque. Allegedly one was killed while trying to tackle the assailant, and others were killed while chasing him. The Trump regime’s press secretary even mentioned it in the news conference today. What the press secretary did not mention was… interesting.
Whenever an awful crime happens, I have noticed a curious thing. When the crime is (allegedly) committed by a minority, you see the perpetrator’s face all over the media. When a white guy does the same thing, you see a picture of the victims (if they are white) or a police car if they are not. I’m attempting to redress the balance here.
The suspect, 27-year-old Alexandre Bissonnette, was apprehended by police on Monday morning. Law-enforcement sources told Reuters that this was a "lone wolf" attack. They also confirmed to NBC on Monday afternoon that Bissonnette is the only suspect in the shooting, though police initially apprehended two suspects. The second person apprehended by police is now considered a witness and not a suspect.
Bissonnette studies political science at the University of Laval, a French-language university in Quebec City, according to Le Soleil. "He was practically in all my classes. He's a loner," a Laval student told the newspaper. "He doesn't really have any friends." Another student, Jean-Michel Allard-Prus, told Le Journal de Quebec, that Bissonnette "had political ideas on the right" and was obviously "pro-Trump."...
Deschamps said that Bissonnette frequently trolled the organization's Facebook page, posting comments attacking women's rights and refugee rights. Deschamps further said that his organization often watches what the "extreme right" are posting on social media.
What is doubly sad, is that after a shooting at a Mosque, the first guy that the police pick up and accuse is an innocent Muslim! Social media (and Fox news) picked up on the innocent guy’s name and immediately concluded that this was “another” attack by radical Islamic militants. As another diary points out, Sean Spicer even used this tragedy to support his ban on Muslims well, not Muslims actually but people from majority Muslim countries unless they are Christian. Totally different, you see.
Bissonnette, being white (presumably of Christian blood) and from Canada would be allowed freely into the United States. Meanwhile, Donald Trump is protecting us from terrorists like:
It seems like somebody more skilled with photoshop than I should be able to make a good twitter/facebook meme. Something like “Guess who is the terrorist?”
Remember, that according to the regime’s press secretary, "But to assume that just because of someone’s age or gender or whatever that they don’t pose a threat would be misguided and wrong."
