After the so-called President’s paid Spokes-shill was caught lying about Obama banning Iraqi Refugees in response to the “Bowling Green Massacre”, one media outlet has decided to kick her to the curb but now she says, she’s the one who turned them down. From Raw Story.
After CNN declined an administration offer to have Conway appear on its State of the Union show on Sunday, the New York Times reported that executives at CNN have “serious questions” about Conway’s credibility, which may lead them to refuse future offers to have her on their shows.
Reacting to this report, Conway said on Twitter that family issues prevented her from appearing on Sunday shows this week, while also slamming the “false” reporting about CNN executives doubting her credibility.
Riiight. That’s exactly what happened even while CNN is considering making the ban of Conway permanent.
Naturally CNN has tweeted out their response already.
Also Mika from Morning Joe chimed in.
Ohh, burn.
Meanwhile CNN is considering making the #KellyanneBan permanent.
According to the New York Times, CNN executives have “serious questions” about Conway’s credibility, as she has consistently pushed what she herself has called “alternative facts,” such as the nonexistent “Bowling Green massacre” that was roundly mocked last week.
The Times notes that media critics such as New York University professor Jay Rosen have called on networks to bar Conway from their shows due to her repeated use of falsehoods, so it’s possible CNN could be just the first network to decline offers to have Conway on their shows.
I say to CNN : Do it.
Then we can listen to Kellyanne claim that she’s now on permanent kid duty. She doesn’t need to be on our TV, we can read her lies just fine via twitter.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) today introduced the Terrorist Refugee Infiltration Prevention Act of 2015, which will immediately bar refugees to the United States from any country, such as Iraq or Syria, that contains territory substantially controlled by a foreign terrorist organization. The bill sunsets after three years so that Congress can reevaluate the global situation and either let the bill expire or reauthorize it with necessary modifications in light of changed circumstances.
Upon introduction of the bill, Sen. Cruz stated, “After watching the horrific scenes play out in Paris, we have to take basic steps to protect ourselves from the growing threat of radical Islamic terrorism. This legislation will do just that.”
