Melania Trump has refiled a lawsuit against the Daily Mail for running a (later retracted) story that she had worked as an escort when she first arrived in the US. She alleges the story damaged her “brand,” just as she was about
to launch a broad-based commercial brand in multiple product categories, each of which could have garnered multi-million dollar business relationships for a multi-year term during which Plaintiff is one of the most photographed women in the world.
As First Lady. Really. There is no depth to which these people will not sink.
But put aside for a moment the conflicts of interest, the incredibly disgusting moneygrubbing. This is a lawsuit she has filed, and the subject is her past.
And a lawsuit means depositions.
Which means some lawyer is going to ask about her immigration status history. Maybe have a look at her tax returns (which could spur Congress to demand his--no idea if they file jointly--something Congress has the power to do).
Things are bound to get interesting, in any case.
