This is just too much! This is a cover-up of historical proportions and Devin Nunes has completely tainted this investigation. A special prosecutor must now take over the Trump/Russia investigation.
Devin Nunes needs to be removed from the House Intelligence Committee...like yesterday.... Actually, he needs to be removed from Congress, completely.
Do you think there was collusion between Nunes and Trump? Im just flabbergasted that Nunes is allowed to even be on the panel investigating Trump, et al, when he clearly has a vested interest in protecting Trump and his thugs.
*How did that “source” quickly get clearance to be wandering around on the White House grounds... or did that source already have a clearance as a White House employee, I ask sarcastically….
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) met a source on the “White House grounds” before making his claim last week that Trump transition aides were monitored by U.S. intelligence agencies, an aide to Nunes confirmed Monday.
The secret meeting on the White House grounds, first reported by CNN, is sure to add to the speculation among Democrats that the White House was involved in Nunes’ decision to go public with his claim last week.
Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.) even said she believed the whole thing had been orchestrated by the White House to take heat off Trump for claiming earlier this month that former President Barack Obama ordered the wiretapping of Trump Tower — something Nunes continues to say he has seen no evidence of.

One source told CNN that Nunes, a California Republican, was seen on the White House grounds the day before his announcement. In a phone interview, Nunes confirmed to CNN that he was on the White House grounds that day -- but he said he was not in the White House itself. (Other buildings, including the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, are on the same grounds.)
WASHINGTON ― House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) met an unnamed source on White House grounds last week, one day before he alleged that President Donald Trump and his team were subjected to surveillance during the final months of the Obama administration.
Nunes met the source on White House grounds in order to view sensitive information in a “secure location,” Jack Langer, Nunes’ communications director, said Monday in a statement. Langer did not respond to a question about why Nunes and his source did not use a sensitive compartmented information facility ― known as a SCIF ― on Capitol Hill instead.
Only individuals with specific approval can enter White House grounds.
The revelation about Nunes adds to speculation that he coordinated with Trump’s team before making allegations about the previous administration’s information-gathering.

RAJU: And also he also said it's baffling that he could not rule out that the White House was the source behind the documents. Can you just categorically say that the White House --
NUNES: Yes. You've asked this question many, many times. And I will continue to say the same thing. You can ask me every single name that exists on the planet and I'm still not going to tell you who our sources are.
