Science hating House Republicans have moved shut down further scientific inquiry into climate science, very likely to conflict with their big Koch donors’ rigid embrace of climate denial.

The House voted Wednesday to restrict the kind of scientific studies and data that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) can use to justify new regulations.
The Honest and Open New EPA Science Treatment Act, or HONEST Act, passed 228-194. It would prohibit the EPA from writing any regulation that uses science that is not publicly available.
It’s the latest push by House Republicans to clamp down on what they say has turned into an out-of-control administrative state that enforces expensive, unworkable regulations that are not scientifically sound.
The Dishonesty Act would be a far more accurate name for this impulse for the thoroughly corrupted house Republican Caucus to impose a new Dark Age on humanity. These craven Republications hacks have no conception how peer reviewed scientific advancement proceeds, much less have any inkling of the gravity climate science’s implications for humanity’s future.
Instead they have become so corrupted by Koch Cash that they are willing to degrade the quality of life for America's grand children, and untold succeeding generations, all for the oil industry's short term gain by clinging to an unsustainable business model.
The Department of Energy has banned the use of terms 'climate change' and 'emissions reduction'
Republicans want the US to abandon it role as a leading proponent of rational policy, and America’s commitment to being on the cutting edge of scientific advancement.
