Donald Trump’s “big, beautiful” wall — 1) that is turning out to be not 100% a wall; 2) that Congress won’t fund it; 3) and that Mexico isn’t f*cking paying for — has never been so unpopular:
American voters oppose 64 - 33 percent building a wall on the border with Mexico, the highest level of opposition measured so far and up from 60 - 37 percent opposition in a February 23 Quinnipiac University poll.
Republicans support the wall 72 - 24 percent and white voters with no college degree are divided 50 - 47 percent. All other partisan, gender, age, racial or education group listed oppose the wall.
"And The Wall keeps tumbling down, or at least support for what was once a crowd-pleasing campaign promise," said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.
