Jones agreed Kushner and his wife appeared to be part of a broad Democratic conspiracy to shut down right-wing sites — which he described as guardians of the republic, and which the FBI is investigating for possible ties to Russian agents.
“If there’s anyone on the planet who would understand this, it’s Steve Bannon,” Stone said. “I don’t think Jared understands that if these censorship initiatives go forward, the chances of the president’s re-election are zero.”
Jones used a series of code words to warn his listeners that Kushner, who is Jewish, was trying to undermine his father-in-law, the president.
“He is surrounded by weak, foppish, left-wing New York socialites,” Jones said, and Stone picked up the thread.
“Meanwhile, we see Jared dining with the head of Google with one of the toniest restaurants in Manhattan,” Stone said. “This is more disturbing to me than anything else because the future of the Trump administration and his efforts to make America great again completely pivot off access to the ‘net and the ability to rally the same people who elected him.”
Kushner has been re-christened "the little snake" and the #FireKushner hashtag is up and trending. Raw Story has a compilation of the best tweets and my personal favorite is halfway down the page, where a picture of the youngster in "The Omen" is side by side with one of Kushner. Amazing resemblance. Kushner is now officially being compared to Satan by the alt-right.
Finally, a White House aide told Axios that Bannon is indeed going to be leaving and also, that Trump is considering replacing Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, to boot. Supposedly this is not a question of if but when.
Tensions between Bannon and Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law said a trusted aide, have boiled over this week as the White House chief strategist was booted from the National Security Council and reportedly had to be persuaded to remain on the staff by megadonor Rebekah Mercer.
“The tension, the exhaustion, the raw nerves have gotten much harder to disguise,” the aide said.
Sources told Axios that Trump is considering at least four replacements for Priebus, including House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), former Bush Secretary of Commerce Wayne Berman, former campaign adviser David Urban and economic adviser Gary Cohn, a former top executive at Goldman Sachs.
“Things are happening, but it’s very unclear the president’s willing to pull that trigger,” the aide said.
One thing is certain. The events of this week signal a point of no return in Washington and the GOP is unequivocably in a civil war. The generals are named Koch, Mercer, Prince and DeVos. It will be interesting to watch their next campaign. Don’t touch that dial.
