The west entrance to Glacier National Park is the most common way tourists come into the Park. West Glacier, originally named Belton, was the train station that brought many tourists to the Park. After crossing the bridge across the North Fork of the Flathead River, people come into the Apgar area. Apgar village began as a cluster of homesteads in the 18902. The early settlers in the area included Dimon Apgar. The photos shown below were taken on March 31, 2017.
Middle Fork
The Middle Fork of the Flathead River marks the boundary of Glacier National Park.
Apgar Village
Apgar Village has a number of shops offering the kinds of thing tourists want or need, rental services, motels and one restaurant. In March, only one business is usually open.
Apgar Campground
Apgar Campground is the largest campground in the Park. The campground itself is situated in trees and provides tent and RV campers with shade and some privacy. We spend a lot of time camping here.

Also, no telling what Dkos luminairies and/or Dkos nefarious characters will attend! :)
The date of the meet-up is… Friday, June 30th, July 1st, and July 2nd. There will be a welcoming BBQ on Thursday evening, June 29th, in Coram, MT.
