I cannot stand David Caruso.
It is not just his overacting, but just his general personality, even in real life.
Don’t know much about him? Here is a good read.
'He was emotionally unavailable to everyone, and he was volatile, moody or sullen, depending on the day. Most people don't function well in a dysfunctional environment, but Caruso loved it because he was the source of all the discontent, and it empowered him.'
After his first season - the hot-tempered redhead demanded '$100K per episode, Fridays off, a 38ft trailer, an office suite on the lot, two Manhattan hotel suites when on location, a dozen first-class plane tickets, and additional security to shield him from his adoring public.'
When Bochco refused, Caruso got his contracted $42,500 per episode for four final episodes and then promptly 'left the set, the stage, and the lot' without saying thanks or goodbye to his cast and crew
I wish I could find a copy of the South Park episode when Kyle asks Ike to do his impression of Caurso’s career….sigh.
There are others I do not like, for example Adam Sandler. But once in a great, great while he can actually do something funny.
Caurso has never done anything good, he is the walking definition of cheese and ham.
So, how about you? Which actor can you not stand?
