Why are there so many focus groups and surveys of what Trump voters think?
The answer is that the media thinks that Trump voters will respond to a 100-days of incompetence, policy reversals, intellectual laziness, and everything else with an ah-ha moment when the realize Trump was and is the emperor with no clothes. The media is waiting for that magically admit Trump played them.
When Trump is finished with the remaining 1,360 of this grotesque parody of a Presidency, those same 39% of Americans are going to be saying the same thing: Trump is like us, he gets it, he is going to change everything, blah ba-blah blah blah.
In my non-random sample of Trump voters 100% of them watched Fox news and many stated things that were simply untrue or conspiracy theories. There were two major types of Trump voters: those who couldn’t be bothered with counter facts and those that knew better but did not care. Why does anyone think these people are going to change? Trump was all about catering to their view of the world, so their support of him is all about reinforcing their own biases.
So Main Stream Media, lets do something more useful: lets give at least equal focus groups and polling of people who voted against Trump. In my non-random sample of non-Trump voters, they were more likely to know some facts on the issue of your choice and less likely to appeal to fear.
Of course, maybe it is just me that feels this way.
