“The members of Girl Scout Troop 6000 can be often be found dancing, working with arts and crafts and building bonds of sisterhood like any other Girl Scout troop, but their connection goes beyond friendship.
They are all part of the first troop in New York City organized exclusively for homeless girls.”
“Giselle Burgess, a single mother of five who lost her home in August, helped create Troop 6000 in February with the help of the Department of Homeless Services.”

Mini horses help calm nervous travelers at airport
Wendy and Harley hoof it through the airport, decked out in their red and pink Valentine's best. Mouths drop and heads whip around. Many travelers haven't seen a couple quite like them before, especially not in an airport.
They're horses. Miniature therapy horses, to be more specific. They're in from Seven Oaks Farm in Ross for their twice-monthly visit to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.

Local man becomes firefighter for his 97th birthday
Doyesltown, Pa. (WTXF) - A local man celebrated his 97th birthday in a big way by fulfilling a dream he always had. FOX 29's Hank Flynn has his take.
Bill Grun, of Doylestown, turned 97 Monday and he decided to become a fireman.
"I was kind of hoping for the helicopter but I’ll settle for the fire truck," Grun said.
