I don’t know any of you because I don’t really know any GOP politicians. I’m guessing most of you don’t care about what happened today regarding the healthcare for a majority of Americans. Why wouldn’t you care? Because it has nothing to do with you. If you are 26 or under — you still have Obamacare. If you are over 26, you are wealthy (and most of you know you are) — freedom insurance! You don’t worry about the cost.
I hope you have a chat with your parent who just voted to hate poor and elderly citizens. Who voted to hate special needs children. Who voted to make being born a female a pre-existing condition because — sheesh — lots of us might want a baby or have breast or cervical cancer or get the shite kicked out of us by a spouse or partner. Then there’s LGBT folks (icky, I know) who will get the shite kicked out of them just for yucks — pre-existing LGBT condition besides being deviants.
Maybe you think like your parent(s) I don’t know. I’m not trying to convince any of you of anything because you all are way more privileged than I ever was/am/will be so I don’t understand how you think.
You know what my wish is? That you despise your parent who voted to condemn thousands to an early death to let you go to a nice prep school or play on an athletic team or buy that new electronic piece of equipment. I don’t have any actual hope that will happen but maybe one or two of you had a nanny who taught you morality.
I’m on Medicare. I have no children or grandchildren. I just care about those who have no actual voice or are too afraid to use it.
