A former Donald Trump Kentucky campaign official will have his preliminary hearing on human trafficking and inducing a minor to engage in sexual activity charges he was arrested for last month. There is also a charge of giving a minor alcohol, though no other details have been forthcoming. What is known about Nolan, besides the fact that he’s a Tea Partier who was recently elected to the Campbell County School Board this past fall, is that he was Campbell County’s chairman for Donald Trump’s campaign.
He was also involved in choosing local delegates tasked with casting votes at the July 2016 Republican presidential primary from which Trump emerged as the party's nominee, according to the same documents.
At his arraignment in mid-April Nolan was ordered to wear an ankle-monitoring device and not to have contact with the alleged victims, Kentucky Attorney General Andy Beshear, whose office is prosecuting the case, said in a press release.
In March another one of Trump’s campaign chairman, Oklahoma state Senator Ralph Shortey was arrested on similar charges. In unrelated news … something something Pizzagate.
