My name is CSchmitz60, and I am a recipeaholic. I collect recipes. Old recipes from a 1950’s Betty Crocker’s cookbook, new recipes from the web. Anywhere I can find a recipe that looks like I would use it. I also look at recipes from the time of our American pioneers or Medieval Ages. I’m very eclectic. If a recipe looks good, I collect it. Most of the time it never makes it to the table. But, I still keep collecting. I blame my mother. :) She had four recipe boxes a couple of binders and a half a dozen cookbooks. I now have those books, binders, and recipe boxes. In addition to my recipe box, binder, cookbooks and a CD. One Christmas, my brother gave me the latest edition of “The Joy of Cooking”. It took me a couple of days to read the cookbook from cover to cover. Is there any help for this addiction? (I hope not).
Well I’ll be danged. Apparently there use to be a blog titled Recipeaholic.blogspot.com. Last post 2011, but there are some tasty recipes there. Collecting them.
