Senator Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., shares her thoughts on Sally Yates’ testimony on the hill and calls for an independent commission to investigate President Trump’s potential ties with Russia.
I found this discussion with Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-Min.) very interesting. During the segment Chris Mathews points out that according to today’s testimony when Amy Klobuchar was questioning Sally Yates, it was on January 26th that Sally Yates informed the White House that Flynn was compromised and vulnerable to blackmail. That it was an urgent matter requiring action. Sally Yates was raising deep concerns. Concerns about Flynn that the Obama administration had previously warned the Trump Regime of 48 hours after the 2016 election.
Two days later On January 28th, 2017 Trump called Putin. According to Chris Mathews today, May 8th, 2017, the picture at the top of this post is a picture of that call made by Trump to Putin. (starting @ minute 1:25 of the video is that part of the conversation where Chris Mathews makes the claim)
What I don’t understand is the continued reporting by most everyone commenting, that Pence was left in the dark. That Flynn lied to Pence, therefore Pence knew nothing.
Pence is sitting right there as Trump Calls Putin.
Here are links to the excellent work of ursulafaw, and by Klemperer Respawned both of whom made excellent cases that it is unbelievable that Mike Pence is not involved in the cover-up and knew nothing
Joy-Ann Reid also had questions about the GOP stories that Pence is completely un-involved in the Russian shenanigans by the Trump regime:
Either Pence knew everything, or is an “idiot,”
Maybe I’m missing something, but it seems very important that Mike Pence NOT be allowed to remain seen as an innocent bystander, especially with him next in line to the presidency, just as one of many reasons — imo
.
There are more video segments available with Senator Sheldon White House and Chris Hayes, but it was this picture at the ^top^ that struck me as important — unless of course Tweety is wrong and that the picture is not Trump calling Putin on January 28th, 2017, as he spoke of in the video above.
.
.
Just to be clear; I’ve no doubt Flynn is a liar. He’s more than proved that. The entire Trump regime and the GOP covering for it are also despicable liars — the latest Trumpcare Massive tax cuts for the 1%ers proves that beyond doubt. But Mike Pence as an innocent? — I ain’t buying that narrative. Not even for a minute
