I voted in the primary for Bernie. I voted in the election for Clinton, and happily so.
I think racial justice and economic justice are intimately intertwined, and you can’t solve one without the simultaneously solving the other.
I don’t understand your obsession with Sanders and his supporters. Or your need to fling pie at them at every opportunity. The Ossoff debacle is a literal non-story. Why would Ossoff want to be labeled a progressive when he’s trying to win a seat in Georgia? Why are you making this out to be so much more than it actually is, when we ALL want Ossoff to win?
When I joined this site, the mission of Daily Kos was to elect “more and better democrats”. What happened to that? We used to want to be a big tent party on this site. This site was a wonderful forum for hashing out our differences, and working towards the objectives we all agreed on. What happened?
I want to continue the mission of moving the progressive agenda forward, and in my honest opinion, Daily Kos is the best platform to do it, So I will not be leaving. I will continue to read the site, and debate policy in the comments, because I feel that all of us here agree on much much more than we disagree on.
It would be really nice if you would stop bashing people like me all the time, but you post so infrequently that I can handle it. I’m mainly here for the other amazing writers on this site like Denise Oliver Velez, Mark Summer, Meteor Blades, Joan McCarter, and the rest. Daily Kos has an amazing staff that I will continue to frequent the site regardless of how much you detest me for being a “Bernie Bro”.
