Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) could not have been any blunter in slamming Republican Rep. Raul Labrador’s (R-ID) instantly notorious claim that “Nobody dies because they don’t have access to health care.” Harris didn’t name Labrador (so let’s say it again for her: Raul Labrador), but the reference was crystal clear.
“This guy, this congressman, you might as well say, ‘People don’t starve because they don’t have food,’” Harris said during the interview with Pod Save America released Monday. “What the fuck is that?”
“People don’t starve because they don't have food” is an excellent comparison, but does anyone else sort of expect Labrador to come back and claim it’s true?
