Welcome to bookchat where you can talk about anything...books, plays, essays, and audio books. You don’t have to be reading a book to come in, sit down, and chat with us.
I often worry about great books getting forgotten and I often do diaries about them. I usually don’t worry about movies because they can be found if people are looking for them. The question is…are people remembering to look for them? Were some of these movies overlooked when they came out?
I am putting up some favorites of mine, tonight, that are basically comedies, but not necessarily completely so. There are some that are tear-jerkers that have humor.
In some cases it is a scene and in some it is just the trailer. I noticed that the whole movie for most of them was available at YouTube.
I am guessing that you all have some favorites and that they are beloved.
Please list them or share a scene. I am not sure if too many videos will cause some readers not to be able to load the diary. But tell us about your favorite movie that may have been overlooked or that is getting old and might be forgotten.
Of course, we can talk about books as usual and maybe some of your favorite movies were made from books like To Kill a Mockingbird, Middlemarch, and The Princess Bride.

Please read this diary. It is much better than the one I was going to put up next week.
I will add my thoughts here:
Once in a great while along comes a book so satisfying to my hungry mind that I have to give it its full due. A friend recommended the book and after I bought it a couple of people here at Bookflurries praised it highly. Thank you!
A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles is superb. The crème de la crème reviewed by boatsie.
