Washington (CNN)Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is on Capitol Hill Thursday to speak with leaders of the Senate intelligence committee.
A Justice Department official confirmed the meeting, but did not specify the topic. Dana Boente, the acting director of DOJ's national security division, is also present.
Senate intelligence chairman Richard Burr, R-North Carolina, and vice chairman Mark Warner, D-Virginia, both left a hearing with acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe for the meeting.
Apparently 20 States Attorney Generals wrote him a letter calling for special counsel on Trump/Russia investigation. Is he looking to honor that request!?

Update: The meeting with Rosenstein is being held in the secure senate facility. NPR reported the same according to DailyKos user Heavy Mettle.
__________
While that is going on, FBI acting Director McCabe is testifying too!
That is highly significant for those in the back. Just yesterday Conway and Huckabee were doing their whole “nothing to see here folks” routine for the media.
HMPH.
McCabe also contradicted Trump’s bullshit that the FBI had lost trust in the FBI Director and actually said that it had been the greatest honor of his professional life to work with Comey. The above added link contains a video of what was frankly a quite touching moment.
And then McCabe shut things down, declaring that he will not be discussing the Russia investigation with Trump in the future and had not discussed it with him in the past. Remember that in his you’re-fired letter Trump had written that Comey had assured him on three occasions that he wasn't under investigation. Allegedly, of course.
McCabe said that that is not usually how things are done which leads me to conclude that Trump was lying his butt off.
Anyways, even if that was the case, that ends now.
But holy crap, what does Rosenstein wants to talk with Senate Intelligence readers about!? That’s what I want to know right now.
According to DailyKos user, PbNj, things seems to be happening in Annapolis regarding a RICO investigation on behalf of Washington agents. www.wbaltv.com/...
