This is the Itzl Alert Network.
(Itzl is the name of the dog in the picture.)
We publish a diary here every day,
just before midnight.
This group is here for us to check in with each other,
to let people know we are alive,
and doing OK.
We welcome every member of IAN to write diaries for the group.
Every member is an editor, so anyone can take a turn when they have something to say.
If you would like to write a diary, let us know in a comment.
This is our regular schedule:

Tuesday: ejoanna,

If you'd like to be part of the Itzl Alert Network,
please leave a comment asking to join,
or send us a message asking to join.
We'd love to have you.
The bigger our network,
the less likely someone will be stranded all alone.
The results of the biopsy to see if I have prostate cancer?
Drum roll, please!
I do not have cancer!
Yay!
I told a lot of my co-workers at Walmart, and they were very happy for me.
400 of us work there, and there is always one or two of us dying of cancer, or getting treatment for it, it seems.
On the other, bigger topic, my wife and I moving in with her brother and wife and baby in the brick house:
We are moved in.
We just called, and told the utilities companies to shut everything off Monday, at the old house.
We are very busy at the brick house.
For example:
Yesterday, I had the washer going, and the dryer, doing the laundry for my wife and I;
I had a big pot of boiling water on the stove, with 30 eggs in the water.
And I was washing dishes.
We peeled the boiled eggs, later, and smashed them with a potato smasher, and added Miracle Whip and pickle relish and three cans of chicken breast meat.
Very tasty, and plenty for everyone.
The new mom works two jobs, and uses a breast pump, so that when my wife and I are left with the baby, at 6 AM when Tonia’s brother goes to work, we have a few bags of breast milk in the fridge, to warm up and give the baby.
The new mom’s early job starts at 4 AM, and her other one is early afternoon.
In between her jobs, she goes to the free food pantry locations, to get as much food in the house as she can.
We have nearly a half bushel of fresh green beans.
We have a fifty pound bag of white onions.
That bag of onions is at least 12 inches in diameter, and at least two feet tall.
Plus, we have various fruits, and my wife requested fruit smoothies.
I already made one batch, with:
watermelon
strawberries
pineapple
kale
green beans
It tastes pretty good, and my wife and I each drank about a pint.
When I am done with this Itzl diary, I plan to make another batch, with:
honey
green beans
kale
strawberries
watermelon
dragon fruit
mangoes
Should be equally tasty.
Within this week, I plan to make some veggie smoothies, with:
green beans
onions
more onions
tomato puree
salt
molasses
honey
lemon juice
vinegar
Serrano peppers
Habanero peppers
I have been making my veggie smoothie for years. I would have made some already, but my wife asked for the fruit smoothie, so, I made hers first.
The biggest message I want to give all of you is that my wife and I feel so much better at this house. Everyone here is organized, and open about the money, and dedicated to making the whole thing work. All of us at this house have as our goal, quality time with each other. The family members at the other house were all focused on other fun activities, outside the home, with other folks, not my wife and I.
It feels so good, even as we are kept very busy, with the baby and other chores, it feels so good to spend this quality time with family.
Thanks for reading.
