Same idiots who laughed about 24 million people losing their healthcare, could have been ‘joking’, but in context it actually looks like a statement of fact in 2016. Why swear everyone to secrecy.
More amusingly, Rep. Rohrabacher endorsed Le Pen as well as going to France for their election
The Washington Post verified the recording of a June 2016 exchange featuring Republican Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Republican Speaker Paul Ryan.
“There’s two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump,” McCarthy told a gathering of lawmakers.
Fellow California Republican Dana Rohrabacher is known as Putin’s favorite congressman.
The Washington Post claimed Speaker Ryan immediately interjected, before McCarthy’s assertion about Trump could be further explored.
“No leaks…this is how we know we’re a real family here,” Speaker Ryan said in an attempt to keep the conversation private.
As Allan J. Lichtman of American University pointed out in an interview with Salon on Tuesday, “Impeachment should only proceed when it threatens the society.” There are three ways, Lichtman argued in our conversation — and argues in his new book “The Case for Impeachment” — in which Trump’s presidency poses a clear threat to the lawfulness of our government:
- The numerous conflicts of interest that Trump has refused to address (his dozens of trademarks in China being among many examples).
- The overwhelming circumstantial evidence suggesting collusion between Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and Russian intelligence.
- Trump’s firing of FBI Director James Comey, which would constitute obstruction of justice if it happened — as Trump himself has suggested — because Comey was leading the investigation into the alleged collusion with Russia.
