Most stories dealing with the Tiny Thumbs Diktator are pathetic just by the nature of the subject, but this one is pathetic for more than one reason. CNN is REPORTING that the FBI investigation has already gotten to at least some of the former aides and staffers from the Trump campaign, and they’re feeling the pinch;
A former Trump campaign aide is requesting that President Donald Trump set up a legal fund to help associates ensnared in the federal probe into Trump campaign contacts with Russia.
The ex-staff member, who told CNN he is racking up legal fees after hiring an attorney in order to respond to questions from federal investigators, also said he was never paid for his work for the campaign. He requested anonymity to speak candidly. (italics mine)
As pathetic as JD Trumpenfluff is, I’m throwing the aide into the same category this time, for a couple of reasons. The italics sentence is the first reason. Unless he was brought in at the last minute to handle the election rush, this anonymous aide obviously just got off of the bus from Nukenfutz, Nebraska when he went to work for Trump. I don’t know of a single person who would work for anybody for more than 30 days without getting paid. The second reason is that regardless of how long he worked for Trump, he is obviously one of the most naive people on the planet. Has he never read or heard a word about his old boss? Trump relishes stiffing people who do work for him, and when he’s done with them, he doesn’t help them get lawyers, he hires lawyers to protect him from them!
Still, this is enlightening since it proves that the FBI investigation is coming along nicely, they’ve already contacted former staff with questions about the operation. It’s not so good for the staff, who are having to lawyer up to protect themselves, even worse if they still haven’t gotten paid almost 6 months after the election. The former aide has a whole smorgasbord of complaints about Trump’s treatment of his former worker bees, but apparently the legal fees aren’t the only worry for those unfortunate to have tried to make a buck off of Trump;
In addition to mounting legal fees, the former campaign staff member also expressed concern about how his job prospects may be affected by the Russia investigation.
"At a minimum, political careers dead and damaged ability to work in DC," the ex-staffer said, insisting that there is still no evidence of Trump campaign collusion with the Russian government to throw the 2016 election to Trump. (italics mine)
The great reputation and job hunt conundrum is one that even current Trump staffers, being paid by the government are facing, Don of Orange is an employment oil slick, it’s going to take staff years to scrub his sludge off of their resumes. But that last section in italics makes me think we’re actually dealing with a “true believer” here. “No evidence of Trump campaign collusion”? News flash for ya pal. Maybe you can’t see any evidence of collusion, but Assistant Attorney Generals don’t normally call in a special counsel after a 9 month FBI investigation just to go off on a scavenger hunt. Maye we can take up a collection so that the poor guy can at least buy a clue.
