AP is reporting that they have a source who is saying that Micheal Flynn will decline his subpoena from the Senate Intel committee and invoke the 5th amendment later today.
Former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn will invoke his Fifth Amendment protection against self-incrimination on Monday as he notifies the Senate Intelligence committee that he will not comply with a subpoena seeking documents.
That’s according to a person with direct knowledge of the matter. The person spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss the private interactions between Flynn and the committee.
Clearly Flynn is guilty of something, or else he wouldn’t be pleading the fifth to protect himself. We could have guessed this because of his previous request for immunity, but now we can be certain. The question is what exactly did he do?
The good news in this is that the Senate Intel committee previously rejected his request for immunity, so he can still go to jail for his crimes.
