For a long time now, Republicans have been wanting to literally take food out of the mouths of children. They will even use the Bible to justify their wickedness by saying people in need of food assistance are lazy in God’s eyes. You know, like the tens of millions of dollars spent on those “lazy” families of military servicemen who need public assistance to help support their families. ABC News reports that a bid part of the Trump budget—trying to pay for those wealthy tax breaks Beelzebub asked for—are $1.7 trillion in cuts over the next 10 years.
Cuts include a whopping $193 billion from food stamps over the coming decade — a cut of more than 25 percent — implemented by cutting back eligibility and imposing additional work requirements, according to talking points circulated by the White House. The program presently serves about 42 million people.
The food stamp cuts are several times larger than those attempted by House Republicans a few years back and comprise the bulk of a 10-year, $274 billion proposal that's labeled as welfare reform.
Forget about the nearly trillion dollars that will disappear from Medicaid over the next 10 years if Republicans and Trump have their way. As for federal employee pensions, Trump and his Republican stooges have long wanted to pair their tax breaks for the rich with more taxes on workers as well as cutting down federal jobs.
National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association President Richard Thissen called Trump’s plan “beyond insulting. It is downright mean. Simultaneously promoting tax cuts and forcing a tax on just federal employees, through an increase in retirement contributions, is the height of hypocrisy.”

Beyond the budget’s retirement hits, reducing the number of federal employees would result from other budget cuts, a March executive orderon reorganizing government and OMB’s plan for reforming government and reducing the federal workforce issued in April.
This is all to service a class of people who already have billions of dollars. They’ve already won the wealth lottery.
