Pay attention, ladies, because the people who are just about to put your health in jeopardy are the men in the picture above. Not a single one of them has borne a child. Not a single one of them has had to struggle with what it feels like when your body bleeds every month and maybe you have cramps, but you need to look all fresh and crisp for a board meeting so you deal with it. Not a single one of them knows what it’s like to get a pap smear or a mammogram or a vaginal yeast infection.
These are the people who are just about to decide what our country’s policy will be regarding health care. If you are female, you are not represented.
If you agree with me that that’s definately not cool, you actually can do something about it. You can call both your senators right now and tell them that you are against any health care act that doesn’t have input from women. Please do that today.
If you don’t know who your senators are, you can find out here. The link will take you to a map of the United States. Click on your state and it will tell you who your senators are. Then call 202-224-3121 and ask to be connected to your senator and tell them that passing legislation that excludes women’s input is unacceptable.
Just do it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Only men are on the committee. They are writing a secret bill to repeal healthcare from Americans. They are doing it so that Russians and their traitorous Trump supporters can get tax breaks. Meanwhile women and children will suffer. These are the men that are trying to do this to you. Don’t let them. Make that call.
