I use the Affordable Care Act with Blue Cross/Blue Shield for my health insurance and it’s manageable for now, but my wife (significant other, not legally married) isn’t on anything. She’s been unemployed for a while now. We’ve tried to get her covered too, but they told her more than once she needed a verifiable income or didn’t make enough money (even though she went to a hearing to get disability from Social Security with strong evidence she needed it for reasons I don’t want to divulge). So, I like Hillary’s “new name for the Republican Party.”
Hillary Clinton has a new name for the Republican Party if Congress manages to pass the Senate health care bill: "death party."

"Forget death panels. If Republicans pass this bill, they're the death party," she tweeted.
Also, as Joy Reid recently pointed out there’s this rationalization that “Medicaid should just receive less money and that it shouldn’t be getting its money from taxpayers.”
“The point you’re making in the amendment that you supported is it essentially you are saying you don’t believe that taxpayers should pay into that which is not going bankrupt,” Reid stated. “Just empirically, there is no empirical evidence, right? It’s not — what you’re saying is you want to take the money out of Medicaid. The plain fact here is that this is not about Medicaid reform. You, sir, believe that Medicaid should just receive less money and that it shouldn’t be getting its money from taxpayers.”
I wonder if that was part of the “justification” as to why the judge here in Oklahoma wouldn’t give my wife the disability she needed from not being able to work, which is due to something beyond her control and power to change. But the “Death Party” needs something to say to itself when it looks in the mirror, doesn’t it? “Mirror, mirror on the wall — take money away from Medicaid for all (except me and my base, of course).”
I pay my taxes to help the homeless and contribute to social programs that make the world a better place, not bomb a foreign country with missiles in a foolish fashion and pay for Tr*mp’s businesses here and overseas. Republicans: don’t tell me how my tax money should be spent, especially when you support a president who is breaking the law. I pay your damn salary, and my wife deserves the same coverage you get. Once more, "Forget death panels. If Republicans pass this bill, they're the death party," she tweeted.
