There is a lot of commentary on the current occupant of the White House and his utter obsession with women and blood, as exemplified in yesterday’s presidential statements about MSNBC’s Morning Joe hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski. But Newsweek magazine (here via Raw Story... can’t stand the Autoplay that pops up whenever I read a Newsweek story) noticed another of The Occupant’s creepy obsessions; his obsession with IQ and bragging to the world about “
how smart he is”...especially at someone else’s expense:
Trump is known for dishing out vicious insults to those who speak ill of him, and attacking an ememy's I.Q. is one of his most classic burns. Let's peruse the president's Twitter history for some examples.
- In April 2013, he tweeted that Hardball host Chris Matthews "must have the lowest IQ on television" for "telling people that domestic terrorists are from the right."
- Also in April 2013, he corrected a user who said his I.Q. was probably somewhere between that of George W. Bush and Barack Obama. "Much higher than both," Trump responded.
- A month later, he reiterated the contention that his I.Q. is higher than Obama's.
- Also in May 2013, he retweeted someone who said Trump's I.Q. was higher than that of "idiot Jon Stewart," adding, "That's true. And by a lot."
- Two days later, he attacked a random Twitter user who asked him if an I.Q. of 60 was good.
If you read the link, you’ll note that I’ve only cut and pasted the tip of the iceberg with regard to this topic.
I’ve long had my own theories on this subject.
The gist of it is that DJT grew up in a family of some really “intelligent” and accomplished relatives, including his two older sisters and an uncle wh taught at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for decades. And he, DJT, was frequently regarded as the one that was...well, not “quite so smart.”
And that The Occupant, frequently, treats the “event horizon” of really, really smart people (i.e. the 44th President of the United States) and is repelled by it and feels his own sense of inferiority.
That’s probably waaaay more psychoanalyzing than I want to do; FSP knows that even attempting to enter The Occupant’s brain would seem to be rather like the DC comics superhero The Atom entering the brain of Darkseid (JLA#14!).
However, I did want to note that Trump did something a bit more insulting than simply insult Mika Brzezinski’s for her looks on one evening in late December in Florida.
