Rachel Maddow had an amazing show last night discussing new information from the WSJ and McClatchy. Let’s walk through this not from the standpoint of What is Lying Donald Telling Us? but from the standpoint of ‘Knowing Trump as We Do — What Really Happened?’.
So some of this is hypothetical, but fits with all of the known facts.
Starting in 2015 the Trump team met with the Russians to see if they would get support. The Russians said sure.
We don’t know if anything happened during the primary because we’re not focused on that but we can assume that things were percolating.
Immediately after the primary, Putin sent the Russian lawyer www.nytimes.com/… Natalia Veselnitskaya to meet with the campaign and Donald Trump Jr. The email is written in a completely incriminating way, starting the blackmail chain. At the same time, a web site (DCLeaks.com) is set up to receive hack information. Oddly it’s almost never used.
Simultaneously, there are suspicions that money is being funneled into the Trump campaign by the Russian government. We can certainly point at large overpayments for Trump properties (which continue to this day).
Within days of the meeting, the DNC is hacked (if it wasn’t already). This information is carefully funneled to WikiLeaks even though Russia set up a different site. The method implies US assistance.
During the campaign, money continues to funnel into the Trump Campaign. If you look at when and how they spend money it’s a very strange pattern — as if bursts of money are coming in from an outside source — namely Russian cutouts.
Not long after the DNC is hacked, Podesta’s email gets hacked, again by Russia. Again, this data is carefully funneled through WikiLeaks to maximize damage by someone American.
Also during this time Farage becomes a buddy of Donald Trump’s and makes a very strange visit to Julian Assange.
Finally, Computer Science academics notice frequent encrypted messages going back and forth between a Trump server and a Russian bank that’s a front for the government.
So, let’s cut out the bs here. Everything points to close coordination between Kushner’s data-mining operation, the Trump campaign’s resources, and Russia starting day one. They were all in on it and they all knew it.
Now Russia has so much incriminating information it’s not funny. Who cares if there are pee tapes? They can blackmail anyone in the administration starting at the top.
Time for Mueller to get cracking.
