As anticipated:
The Senate on Thursday passed sweeping legislation slapping new sanctions on Russia and rebuking President Donald Trump in a bill that now will head to the President's desk.
The bill, which gives Congress new powers to block Trump from easing sanctions against Moscow, passed the Senate 98-2. It passed the House on Tuesday 419-3.
The Senate had already passed one, this is the House version, very similar but some differences on North Korea. But, oh my gods, the response from the White House spokesperson (who does, in fact, kiss his mother with that mouth)?
The White House has not said whether Trump will sign the bill. On Thursday morning Trump's new communications director Anthony Scaramucci suggested he could veto the legislation.
"He may sign the sanctions exactly the way they are, or he may veto the sanctions and negotiate an even tougher deal against the Russians," Scaramucci said on CNN's "New Day."
A TOUGHER DEAL?!? BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Seriously, how high is that guy?
