Didn't see anything up on this yet and I’ve only got a couple if minutes with my phone, so a pretty quick hit.
Seems buzzfeed is filing a FOIA request for FBI files regarding Mikhail Lesin’s death. It has been ruled an accident officially. However, multiple LEO and Intel folks think that Lesin did not get drunk and fall down several times and accidently inflict the fatal blunt force trauma that ended his life the night before he was to have a chat with the DOJ about The inner workings of RT (the Russian propaganda network)
...the two FBI agents — as well as a third agent and a serving US intelligence officer — said Lesin was actually bludgeoned to death. None of these officials were directly involved in the government’s investigation, but they said they learned about it from colleagues who were.
“Lesin was beaten to death,” one of the FBI agents said. “I would implore you to say as much. There seems to be an effort here to cover up that fact for reasons I can't get into.”
The article goes on to cite the 14 London murders that were suspiciously convenient for Putin, none of which have been ruled murders. According to Buzzfeed, that discomfort with admitting that Russians are assassinating people in a capital city seems to be spreading across the pond.
