The one thing we all can say about far-right media outlets is that they are consistently craven in their ambitions to become the top propaganda outlet for our current Republican Party. With today’s sudden dismissal of Anthony Scaramucci as White House Communications Director, sites like The Federalist needed to figure out how to explain their previous full-throated support of the now banished broken toy. Pretending it didn’t happen is what a third-grader does, and so that’s what they did.
One right-wing outlet seemed to have a very “prescient” view of Scaramucci. Breitbart wrote a piece yesterday entitled, “The Scaramucci Show: WH Communications Director’s Week of Blunders Raises Red Flags.” In Breitbart’s defense, Steve Bannon has always disliked anybody that Donald Trump wants to be besties with.
