Bloomberg reports that the president’s advisory council on infrastructure has dissolved before even forming. The panel was to provide advise on development of the president’s “trillion dollar” infrastructure plan (one of Trump’s few proposals with bipartisan support) and was headed by two New York developers.
Though Trump described the two as personal friends, it seems likely this is due to similar resistance from the business community to Trump’s comments Monday that resulted in two other councils — the “Policy Forum” and “American Manufacturing Council” — dissolving earlier this week.
Happy infrastructure week!
