New York Times reporter Frances Robles recently called racist shit-stain Richard Spencer to get his reaction to a lawsuit filed against him by two young women whose car was hit by the Dodge Charger that caused the deadly pile up in Charlottesville, Va. that killed Heather Heyer.
She expected to be sent to voicemail.
But Spencer answered.
Having grown up Latina in Queens, Ms. Robles thought she had heard it all from racist jerks, but was quickly taken aback by Spencer, who plays in a whole other league than the racist asshats of her youth.
Spencer told her his movement aspired to reverse the “dispossession of whites”.
Frances was agog.
(Bolds mine)
“I thought: What? Dispossession of white people? Dispossess, to “deprive (someone) of land, property, or other possessions?” |
When I am doing interviews, I don’t usually remember to write down what my question was. But I’m pretty sure this is where I said: “What are you talking about?” |
I told him: “The Senate is full of white men. Corporate America. Heck, let’s admit it, even The New York Times!”
|
Spencer corrected her, noting that the NYTs was peopled with Jews...not white fellows at all.
He then discounted the toil ofgenerations of Hispanic and Black natives that helped to build this country and opined that the Native American snowflakes should have “fought harder” but they didn’t... so “his people” “won”.
By his people I suppose he meant the tiny subset of white racist assholes with bad Hitler youth haircuts who’ve been deservedly sucker-punched on National Television.
Spencer ends with the grand revelation that he doesn’t “care about fairness”.
Stop the presses!!!!
I could imagine Ms. Robles, if not for her producing this article, still staring at her phone in disbelief.
