In July, Republican Sen. John McCain did the right thing for the first time in a long, long time, when he cast the decisive vote to kill Republican efforts to gut health care for millions of Americans. Apparently he’s rethinking that moment of statesmanship and conscience:
On the bright side, if McCain does return to his usual position of putting Party over country, he will still be able to take advantage of the very best medical treatment in his ongoing battle against brain cancer. So there is that.
But if that’s not enough for you, please take a few moments and give Mr. McCain a call at 202-224-2235 and let him know what you think of him putting the health of millions of Americans—and hundreds of thousands of Arizonians—at risk in return for a friendly tweet from Donald Trump.
