Trump Rally 2.0, Alabama Edition — Now With More Lies and Deranged Rambling
There’s something about a Trump rally here in the Heart of Dixie that seems to amplify the bat-shit lunacy that comes from Trump’s mouth. Tonight in Huntsville was a prime example.
Trump came here to try to help corrupt and flaccid Luther Strange, whose entire campaign in this special election has been based on the fact that he is a bigger fanboy of Trump than opponent Roy Moore.
Instead, he treated Strange with about as much respect as he shows Kim Jung Un.
Let’s start with this tweet, which comes from a long tweet chain by a reporter from the Toronto Sun:
This might be the stupidest lie that Trump has ever told. And the stuff about thousands waiting outside was also a lie.
Trump then claims that Alabama’s Republican senator has never even met the Republican leaders of the Senate.
John Kelly was probably looking for the exit.
Here is video of Kelly getting the hell out of there.
Trump then brags about how he got Luther’s vote and didn’t have to give him (or Alabama) anything for it.
And, of course, he had to lie some more about Hillary.
But this one has to be my favorite:
Trump moving to Alabama? Yeah, right.
Even Big Luther got in on the Festival of Phoniness:
Big Luther is going to lose on Tuesday. He reeks with the stench of defeat.
Even the Facebook ads from McConnell’s SuperPac are eaten up with comments from Moore supporters blasting Strange as a corrupt suck-up.
