Showing the maturity of a mean-spirited middle school student, Donald Trump has reportedly been privately mocking Sen. John McCain, who was tortured as a POW during the Vietnam war and is currently undergoing treatment for brain cancer, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who overcame polio as a child. From Mike Allen at Axios:
In private, President Trump has taken to physically mocking M&M: Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (slumped shoulders; lethargic body language) and Sen. John McCain (imitating the thumbs-down of his historic health-care vote).
He can’t seem to stop himself from attacking McCain. The day after McCain told a nationwide television audience that his doctors have told him his cancer prognosis is "very poor," with only a 3-14 percent chance of survival, Donald Trump thought it was appropriate to tweet a video compilation of McCain discussing the ACA repeal, basically calling him a traitor to the party. And there was the cringeworthy moment when Trump said he preferred people who didn’t get captured during war.

There is little doubt Donald Trump will try to claim this is fake news, but let us not forget that he has a long, public history of belittling and mocking people’s appearances. Who could forget when he cruelly mocked New York Times reporter Serge F. Kovaleski.
Or when he said Megyn Kelly has "blood coming out of her wherever."
Or when he routinely slammed the looks of then presidential candidate Carly Fiorina by saying, “Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?!”
The list is long and we could keep going, but you know the report above is accurate. You just do. More confirmation there has never been a more vile, deplorable, undignified human being to occupy the White House.
