So. I was at work, as was Sis. This guy comes by walking this dog by the front door of the office — I should explain that our office is the only commercial building in the area, it faces a residential NE Minneapolis area right outside the front door.
BEAUTIFUL dog — MAGNIFICENT pitbull — grey with blondish spots — HUGE. And gorgeous and VERY friendly. We waved at the guy, he stops, Sis goes outside first, says hello to the pitbull, her name is Titan — she is his girlfriend’s dog — she is a rescue. Since we have to watch the phones in the office, we took turns, — first Sis, then me — I went outside, and this sweetie dog was all over me — never mind that she could have ripped my arm off without even thinking about it, she was that big and strong — she was adorable. Her name is Titan. Sis has seen them walking by a couple times before, which is why we waved, and wanted to see the dog.
Haha. Well. Titan — VERY much wants to come in the front door and lay waste to our office. I couldn’t allow that, exactly, so I had to bar her from the door. Well — had she wanted to, she could have totally just bowled right over me and went in — but the guy just barely manages to pull her back and lecture her on manners. She was VERY strong — and very determined — like Marvin (my OTHER kitty — only about 250 pounds haha).
But she decided to be polite and well-trained and licked my hand and kissed me — whew.
Pitbulls get their bad rep from the fact that they ARE so strong and big, and can enforce their will if they want to. This one was adorable. And sweet. But very disappointed.
I notice the guy doesn’t bring her by here anymore on their walks. I can’t blame him. That might have turned out kinda bad.
I wanted to post this to one of the kitty diaries. But I figure it’s worth one of its own.
If I manage to get a picture of Titan, ever, I will post it. What a great experience. She’s adorable.
Also scary haha. I have never felt such a strong animal try to headbutt me out of the way.
