Moved back in. Fire happened on 4/20. All the new furniture stunning. Iam 49. I am somewhat of a nomad. Did the math a few years ago and I have had 23 addresses. Between being an Air Force brat. College. Grad school. Work.
My furniture used to look like bought at random yard sales, because it was :)!
Now my three most important rooms: kitchen, home office, bedroom all match.
As a tech nerd I always wanted a “smart” house. Not working because the $1,500 LAN contractor set-up doesn’t work. Kitchen faucet, foodie here wanted this stunning thing, doesn’t work. I am washing my dishes in a bathtub.
All these other things. But this. That is me above holding the tube that drains my washing machine as I start a load. No rubber seal. Nothing. Just a 1.5-2 inch tube stuck into a much larger hole to the far right.
I have no idea why I looked behind to see this. I am household construction stupid. Hit stop.
Could have just flooded a “new” house and all I paid for flooring …..
Joked to my brother, he is a Cisco Networking guy (never paying $1,500 BTW) and me a project manager, how do these people stay in business for a year, month, week?
