Ok, a bit of UhOh information here. Alexandria is an important county that McAuliffe carried in 2013 72-23. We need to at least match 2013 turnout. Chesterfield went for Cuccinelli 50-41 and they seem to be turnout out. Henrico went to McAuliffe 52-39 and they seem to be turning out pretty well. But that 47.86% for Fairfax is a big number. In 2013 the turnout was 46.8 so they’ve still got 2 hours to run that number even higher.
If you know anyone in Virginia that hasn’t voted, call them now!
Ooops, just found an update on Alexandria:
At 4pm, 42,449 active voters (47%) had voted. Next update will be unofficial results after polls close at 7pm:
Looks like Alexandria is coming through with 90 minutes left!
UPDATE 5:53
Chesterfield turnout is 37% so far not including absentee. Registrar tells us it was 48-50% overall 4 years ago.
Chesterfield was won in 2013 by Cuccinelli 49-41.
