Trump really has to do more than do that third-grade book report thing he does with teleprompters, and especially not try to sell us or the Koreans extra undercoating.
Trump largely softened his usually harsh rhetoric on North Korea, but decided the best strategy would be to complain about the US trade deficit with South Korea while in the country. Insulting one’s host is normal for Agent Orange, because it's Taco Tuesday, and President Business is after all, Lord Business.
Pres. Trump says North Korea nuclear crisis will "ultimately" work out "because it always works out."
Like many Americans who travel abroad, though, Trump has been in search of the comforts of home on his recent Asian tour. On Tuesday, during a stop in South Korea, the president opted to eat lunch at the Camp Humphreys military base with U.S. and South Korean troops. Jennifer Jacobs, White House reporter for Bloomberg News, tweeted that Trump told the press he was given the choice of a “big beautiful lunch” but chose to eat with the troops for what U.S. military news Web site Stars and Stripes said was “taco Tuesday.”
