Soon after I returned to the library from living at Patrice’s home, they set out a small table in the middle of the main aisle. For a couple of months, they put jigsaw puzzles on that table, and guests would come by and put together puzzles.
I did nothing more than divide pieces into “edge” and “non edge” which generally all my brain can handle, re: jigsaw puzzles.
After that, they set out makings, with the instructions for paper flowers. I had made paper flowers one time before: At what was then called “Yearly Kos” in Chicago. That was fun for me, bringing back some great memories.
Then, they set out little squares of paper, with directions for making origami cranes…
And maybe a month ago, this typewriter appeared, with the challenge to write a story in 6 words.
So, that’s my challenge to you… Give me a 6 word story in comments, to use on the typewriter. I have written one, so far:
Homeless, searching for a full-time job.
That said, what’s cool, is watching kids walk by and stop, and stare… trying to figure this thing out. :)
