Hi all. Well, its that time again. No, not Red’s Tamale Day, silly, that’s Tuesdays. Its time for my annual trip to Chile again. I leave Monday morning, this will be my 10th trip there in as many years. I go there every year since 2008. You won’t have exlrrp to kick around any more, at least until I get back Jan 31.
What am I doing there/ My son and his family live there, DIL and two nietas (granddaughters,) he owns a very successful restaurant there, which he and his American partner created. he also owns a house, which some of you may recall I helped him build.
Its summer down there now, balmy nice breezes on the coast, warmer inland. We’ll do some traveleing, of course I’m going to be staying in Valparaiso for a while
I have diaried quite a lot about this and you can find it all in my diary list---the ones that have Chile in the title like these:

Chile is 5 hours ahead of my time (PST) which jolts me out of my usual routine—usually start with MOT to let the coffee take effect, drift over to Abbreviated Pundit Roundup and then mob around for a while with the gang at CUA before I decide to get out of bed. But starting 5 hours later puts a cramp in this schedule—sometimes I can only communicate through Kitchen Table Kibitzing, like a lost ghost looking for a medium to communicate through
So you won’t be seeing me around any more for a while . but I’ll be back--And then after that there’s Hawaii, then Savannah GA in the summer, then HAwaii again, then it will be Chile again. The years go by so fast
So anyway, adios for now. Ciao!!
A little traveling music, Sam!
