From Fresh Air on NPR:
Journalist Ronan Bergman, an investigative journalist working on Israeli intelligence operations, claims that Donald Trump has revealed highly sensitive information that jeopardizes Mossad’s operations to the Russian foreign minister beyond that already disclosed to the public (regarding the risk of laptop bombings from Europe).
As reported in May of last year, Donald Trump revealed sensitive information to Russia during a closed-door meeting with Minister Lavrov and suspected Russian spy Ambassador Kislyak that excluded all western press, but allowed Russian photographers in the room (from whom we get the above photo). Bergman seems to insinuate that the information leaked to Russia is much more damaging than known to the public and has significantly impacted intelligence sharing with Israel.
A short excerpt of the fascinating interview follows:
BERGMAN: [...] President Trump apparently gave secret information. And I know the nature of that information. It is indeed delicate and very, very secret.
DAVIES: So if I understand it, you know of specific information that the U.S. shared with the Russians that has not been revealed publicly and that you are not revealing publicly?
BERGMAN: The nature of the information that President Trump revealed to Foreign Minister Lavrov is of the most secretive nature. And that information could jeopardize modus operandi of Israeli intelligence.
