Here are the Nunes facts that are readily available:
1) Devin Nunes was an “executive” member of the Trump Transition Team.
2) Devin Nunes wanted to “investigate how transcripts of Flynn’s calls with Kislyak got leaked — not the impact of the calls themselves.”
3) Devin Nunes was trying to obstruct as early as Dec 2016, when he “broke with Senate leadership in saying there's no need for another investigation into Russian interference in the US presidential election,” long before he should have made such a conclusion.
4) Devin Nunes stalled the Investigation once, by holding a press conference to announce that “the intelligence community incidentally collected information about US citizens involved in the Trump transition.”
5) Devin Nunes stalled the Investigation twice, by dramatically producing his “trumped-up” Nunes-Memo, which flopped as a significant legal document: “The FBI clearly states right there in the FISA application that they believe Steele was hired to find dirt on Trump. Since the core contention of the Nunes memo is that the FBI didn’t do that, Nunes’s entire argument falls apart.”
6) Devin Nunes Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee (still), stubbornly refuses to subpoena key White House witnesses, even though the ranking Committee member has implore him to, on many occasions.
7) Devin Nunes is clearly still a spokesman for the White House, and has demonstrated his bias as a non-objective investigator, when he echoed Trump talking points, and called the investigation “almost like McCarthyism revisited” and a “witch hunt.”

Clearly Devin Nunes has disqualified himself at least seven-times over, as being unfit for his current Committee job, leading the Trump-Russia Investigation in the House of Representatives.
SO why is he allowed to stay?
Perhaps because the Speaker of the House, who allows Devin to stay, has his own compromising divided loyalty issues, as to who he swore an Oath to Protect, the Constitution or the President?
…
The Republican Party and its use of Russian disinformation.
In recent weeks the public has learned a great deal more about how extensive the Russian disinformation campaign was last year. And just yesterday, the new CIA Director, Mike Pompeo, once again confirmed that Wikileaks acted on behalf of Russia last year and warned that people promoting its materials could be doing the bidding of a hostile foreign power.
[...]
There was little doubt that this material was coming from the Russian government. As Paul Ryan recently said, "We all knew this before the election. We all knew Russia was trying to meddle with our election." The CIA briefed Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell about the Russian campaign in September.
[...]
So to be clear — the Republican Party of the United States knowingly used materials provided by a hostile foreign power in an American election. It continued to use these materials for months after it was known they were coming from Russia, and for months after they were asked to stop using them by the Democratic Party and even other Republican leaders.
[...] [Emphasis Added]
Paul Ryan: "We all knew this before the election. We all knew Russia was trying to meddle with our election."
And Paul Ryan did Nothing about it then … just as Paul Ryan is doing Nothing about it now.
Paul Ryan could remove the Devin Nunes Chairmanship tomorrow. But Paul Ryan condones and approves of the “cover-up” efforts, that Nunes is clearly conducting for the current chaos Administration.
Thus the Question, at the top of the post:
When is the Press going say "Devin Nunes should Recuse himself"?
When all other institutions fail the American People, the Press needs to be the watchdog of last resort.
There’s a reason why the Founders ‘put them in the 1st Amendment’ of the Bill of Rights.
