Stacey Dash appeared on MSNBC’s The Beat With Ari Melber today for her first TV interview as a Republican candidate for Congress in California’s 44th. I must say, this is perhaps the stupidest political interview I’ve seen in the last year, and that’s saying something.
It’s not worth enumerating all her inane positions, because she could not actually articulate any. She answered nearly every question with a very brief homily or some other nonsense, but any position can be summed up as: Whatever Trump says is right. She said there was extremism and violence on both sides in Charlottesville, that family and integrity were the solution to gun violence, and is against the sanctuary cities/state status in California.
The one saving grace of this interview was at the end when Ari maneuvered her into declaring, “I am a clueless person.” I imagine Ari spent the commercial break wiping away tears of laughter.
My guess: Her campaign is just a publicity stunt to boost her career as a FauxNews commentator.
