Last night I made yet another sign. I knew early on I would attend this march but I didn't really expect it to bring many people to downtown on a Saturday morning.
This is Texas after all. And it's not Austin, our liberal oasis in a historically conservative state. It's Houston. I expected an average attendance.
So I was shocked when I saw numbers rivaling the Women's March last year. The number then was approximately twenty thousand. I think we saw that (or more) today.
Houston showed up. We marched to the offices of Ted Cruz. He wasn't there of course. But I think he'll get the message.
