Last night, Rachel Maddow released a hard copy of what she called Mueller’s “Preservation Notice” — an email sent to top DOJ, folks such as AG Sessions’ top aide, among others, on what documents needed to be preserved and handed over to his team.
It demanded everything about the Comey firing — texts, emails, voice mails, building surveillance video, key cards, appointment logs, conference room reservations, and on and on. In a related story, the Notice also demanded all documents pertaining to Russia.
According to Rachel, this was sent out just a week or so after Comey was fired, and Mueller was appointed Special Counsel.
It suggests to me that Mueller already has a very strong Obstruction of Justice case against Trump, even before an interview.
